This is not advice

The descriptions of services, technologies and ways of working here exist so you can see what we do and judge whether to get in touch. They are not technical, legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice, and nothing here recommends a particular platform, framework or architecture for your situation. A decision that affects your business deserves advice that has actually looked at your circumstances.

It may be out of date

We try to keep these pages correct. Platforms and their rules move quickly, though, and a page can go stale between revisions. There is no warranty that what you are reading is complete, accurate or current at this moment, and any part of it may change without notice. If something here matters to a decision you are making, ask and we will confirm the position in writing.

Nothing here is a price

No page here is a quotation, a price, an estimate of cost or time, or an undertaking to take on a piece of work. Commercial terms exist only in a quotation, proposal, statement of work or contract agreed between us, and that document beats anything published here. Our Terms & Conditions explain this in more detail.

No promised results

What a piece of software achieves depends on the requirement behind it, the agreed scope, how good and how timely the inputs are, the platforms it runs on, and a great many decisions taken during and after a project that are not ours to make. No business result is promised anywhere on this site and none should be inferred — not revenue, growth, installs, rankings, conversion rates, uptime or benchmark figures. Where a measurable target genuinely matters, it belongs in the project agreement, written so both sides can test it.

Other people’s names

Every trademark, product name and company name that appears on this website belongs to whoever owns it. None of them is mentioned to suggest a partnership, an endorsement or an affiliation, and no such relationship exists unless this site says so explicitly.

Operating systems, languages, frameworks, cloud platforms and developer tools are named on this site descriptively, so you can see what the work is built with. Naming one does not mean its owner has reviewed, approved, certified, sponsored or partnered with us, and no claim of that sort appears anywhere here. Among the marks referred to:

Every diagram and illustration on this site represents an idea about how something fits together. None is a screenshot of a real client system, a real product interface or a real set of results, and none should be read as evidence of any of those.

Some links here go to pages that are not ours — platform documentation, or the site of a technology we use. Those pages are outside our control. They are linked because they are useful, not as an endorsement, and their content, availability, terms and handling of your information are not our responsibility. Following one is your decision.

The site is provided as it is and as available. There is no warranty that it will run uninterrupted, be free of errors or harmful components, or work on every browser and device. Access may stop at any time, for maintenance or for something outside our control, without warning.

So far as the law allows, Niks Infotech is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published on this website — including indirect and consequential loss, and loss of profit, business, goodwill or data. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability in connection with services provided under an engagement is dealt with in our Terms & Conditions and in the agreement for that project. What we do with the information you send us is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Independence

NIKS INFOTECH is an independent business. It is not owned by, controlled by or affiliated with any technology vendor or advertising platform.

Where another company, advertising platform, operating system, trademark or product is named, it is named to identify it, to describe how we work with it, or to say what a service covers — nothing more.

No such mention should be read as sponsorship, endorsement, partnership or affiliation. Where a relationship of that kind genuinely exists, it is stated plainly and can be evidenced.
