What the enquiry form collects, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long it stays with us and what you can ask us to do with it.
Last updatedApplies to calltoperson.com
This page sets out what Niks Infotech learns about you through calltoperson.com, what is done with it, who else touches it, how long it lasts and what you can require of us. It applies to the website. Anything you send us directly by email, or that passes between us during a project, follows the same principles but sits under the terms of the engagement agreed with you.
The business behind this site
Niks Infotech is a technology and digital services business based in Vadodara, Gujarat. The work is mobile applications, websites, web applications and custom software. The registered address appears at the foot of every page. Anything to do with privacy should go to contact@calltoperson.com, which reaches the person answerable for it — responsibility for personal information rests with the business, not with an outside agent.
What reaches us
Through the enquiry form
That form is the only thing on this website that asks you for anything. Submitting it sends us:
- Your name.
- A company or business name, if you enter one.
- Your email address.
- A telephone number, if you enter one.
- Whichever service you selected.
- Whatever you wrote in the description.
- Your confirmation that we may use the above to reply.
Name, email, service and description are what make the form worth submitting. Company name and telephone number are optional and an enquiry without them is treated exactly the same. Please keep passwords, card or bank details, identity document numbers and anything similarly sensitive out of the message box. If a project genuinely needs material of that sort, we will agree a secure route for it first.
From the server itself
As with virtually any website, the servers delivering this one keep brief technical records of the requests they answer: the originating IP address, the browser and operating system your device announces, which page was asked for, which page sent you, and when. None of it is used to build a profile and no attempt is made to work out who you are. It exists so pages can be served properly, faults can be traced, and automated scraping or a denial-of-service attempt can be spotted and stopped.
The enquiry endpoint additionally applies a plain rate limit, so one source cannot bury it in automated submissions. Doing that means holding the requesting IP address in memory for a short while. It is never written to a database, never attached to your enquiry, and does not outlive a restart of the server instance that handled the request.
What it is used for
What arrives through the form is used to:
- Work out what you are actually asking for.
- Reply, and come back with whatever follow-up questions a proper answer needs.
- Draw up an estimate, proposal or scope document where that makes sense.
- Talk to you about a project you decide to proceed with.
- Keep a record of the correspondence for business and accounting purposes.
None of it is used for marketing. No mailing list, no newsletter, and nothing handed to anyone who is not directly involved in answering you.
The basis for using it
The form carries a checkbox confirming we may use your details to respond, and that consent is what we rely on to contact you. Should we go on to work together, the information is also processed because performing the contract requires it, and because a business in India has record-keeping duties to meet. Consent can be withdrawn whenever you like by writing to contact@calltoperson.com; we will then stop using your details for anything beyond a record we are obliged to retain.
Where an enquiry goes
There is no database behind this website. On submission the server checks the fields, throws away anything it does not recognise, and forwards the enquiry to our business mailbox as an email. Nothing is written to disk here, stored in a content management system, queued for later or made visible through an admin screen — none of those things exist on this site.
From the moment that email lands, your information lives in a business email account, and it is that mailbox’s security and retention that govern it rather than any website storage.
Who else is involved
The list is kept deliberately short. These parties process information as a consequence of how the site runs. Naming them is a statement about the architecture, not a partnership, an endorsement or a certification, and each operates under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Resend carries enquiry emails from this website to our mailbox, so the contents pass through it in transit.
- Vercel hosts and serves the site and produces the ordinary request logs described above.
- Cloudflare, where the site is served through it, sits in front of the hosting to route traffic and filter automated abuse, processing request data to do so.
- Our business email provider, which by definition stores and processes whatever is sent to us.
Several of these run infrastructure outside India, so your information may be processed on servers in other countries. We rely on the contractual and security commitments those providers publish, and none of them is authorised to use your information for ends of its own.
Cookies and measurement
There is no advertising technology and no cross-site tracking on this website. A hosting or security provider sitting in front of it may set a strictly necessary cookie in order to keep the service running. The Cookie Policy covers that in detail.
This website sets no cookies of its own and loads no analytics or measurement script on this deployment. No Google Analytics, no heat-mapping, no session recorder, no marketing pixel. Should that change, this page and the Cookie Policy will be updated to say so.
Keeping it safe
- HTTPS throughout, so anything typed into the form is encrypted on its way here.
- Transport security and the related response headers are applied at framework level, which limits content injection and clickjacking.
- Every field is checked on the server as well as in the browser, and unrecognised fields are dropped.
- A hidden honeypot field and a rate limit cut down automated submissions.
- With enquiries never stored on the website, there is no website database available to breach.
- Access to the mailbox receiving enquiries is confined to the people who need it to answer you.
No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. What can be said is that the number of places your information sits has been kept as small as the job allows.
How long it stays
Enquiry emails remain in the business mailbox for as long as they serve the purpose they were sent for, and for as long as tax, accounting and contractual record-keeping in India require. Correspondence that leads nowhere is deleted once it is plainly no longer relevant. You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any point and it will be, unless a specific legal obligation forces us to keep a record. Server and security logs are short-lived and are held by our hosting and security providers on schedules of their own.
Things we never do
- Sell, rent or trade personal information. That has never happened and will not.
- Hand your details to advertisers, data brokers or lead-generation outfits.
- Use your information for automated decisions that carry legal or similarly significant consequences for you.
- Knowingly collect anything from children. This site addresses businesses and has no feature aimed at a child; if you think a child has sent us something, write to us and it will be deleted.
What you can ask for
You are entitled to ask us to:
- Say whether we hold personal information about you, and provide a copy.
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete what we no longer need to keep.
- Stop using your information for some particular purpose.
- Treat consent given earlier as withdrawn.
Write to contact@calltoperson.com, preferably from the address you first contacted us from, or give us enough detail to locate the enquiry. We may ask a question or two to be satisfied the request is genuinely yours before acting on it. A reasonable request carries no charge. If our handling of it does not satisfy you, say so and it will be looked at again.
Links elsewhere
Where this site links to a page that is not ours, that site’s own privacy policy governs whatever you do there. We have no say in how another organisation treats your information, and a link implies no approval of its practices.
Revisions
This page is revised when the website changes or the law requires it. The date at the top is the date of the version you are reading. A material change will appear here before or as it takes effect, so it is worth a second look before you next send an enquiry.
Questions about this page
If something here is unclear, or you want us to act on one of the requests described above, write in and say which page you mean. The postal address below also works.
